Under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Tolerance and President of the Board of Trustees of Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation, the Award General Secretariat announced the opening of participation in the international competition which is unique of its kind to photograph the date palm tree. The competition title is: The Date Palm in the Eyes of the World for the twelve session 2021 “and will be held in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Association for Photography. All lovers of photography world-wide, professional and amateur, are invited to contribute to this international competition in an appreciation of the Date Palm and to reinforce the photographer's lens to enrich the memorial of our homeland and revive its environmental heritage.

The above was announced in a press declaration by Dr. Abdelouahhab Zaid, the Award SecretaryGeneral on the occasion of launching the twelve session 2021 of the competition stressing at the same time the great success achieved by the competition in its previous session through the noticeable increase in the number of participants coming from all over the world and the quality of the participated photos.
